We were overjoyed to be given the opportunity to create this werewolf transformation for the legendary Howling Man 'Rob Zombie' and Nuclear Blast Records. This project was honestly so much fun to work on! It’s the kind of effect Marc would have happily created for his own enjoyment! The effect was commissioned to celebrate the launch of 'The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy'.
This effect had a lot of moving parts. From the werewolf face deformation model, textures and normal maps created in Zbrush to the rigged hair and whiskers created with FiberShop and Blender. Every element was created from scratch by Marc. This effect utilised Spark AR's render pass features and custom shaders and materials to bring everything together seamlessly.
